Hello and welcome to our first Blog.
We are proud that we have recently been awarded Plastic Free Champion Status by Surfers Against Sewage.
Across the UK, independent businesses are rethinking their impact and removing avoidable, single-use plastic.
We have been working towards this both within Thatcham Refillable and within life generally.
We have removed several needless single use plastic items such as window envelopes, changed to refillable ink cartridges, we use products supplied in paper or reused wrappings and of course we use our circular economy refillable cleaning and body care products with which the containers go back to the factory and get refilled and reused when empty.
Jenny is also working within West Berkshire Sustainable Community, which she helped to create. With the aim to get a Plastic Free Community status for Thatcham and Newbury.
But to do this we need to get more businesses onboard, so we need your help!
